At long last they are back. Armed with plant knowledge and tips. Yes Squak Mt faithful and new friends….the Master Gardeners are returning! Every Saturday beginning April 6th through July 27th, we will be welcoming the Master Gardeners. Master Gardeners are dedicated and knowledgeable volunteers of plant science. Trained by horticultural experts from WSU, King County Cooperative Extension, and the USDA, they offer advice on insects, disease, pruning, gardening techniques, soil building, and just about any other gardening question you may have.
The Master Gardeners will be at Squak Mt. from 10 AM to 2 PM. Follow the sandwich board signs we will have out, telling you where they will be set up for the day. Typically they are in the front of the glass greenhouse if the weather is bad, or in the gazebo in the upper nursery if the weather is good. Please Bring All Plant Samples Sealed in a Plastic Bag. This is so disease isn’t spread to other plants.
Also, our knowledgeable staff is here to answer any of your plant disease and care questions Monday through Saturday 9 AM to 6 PM. Again if you need to bring in a plant sample: Please Bring it in A Sealed Plastic Bag!
