The Wonder of Christmas

Come discover the wonder of Christmas as you explore the enchanting theme trees in the Squak Mt. Holiday Shop….

Baby It’s Cold Outside

Dapper smiling snowmen in top hats and oversized frosty gray snowflakes create a joyful snowy scene.  Birch branches, snowballs, lighted snow-filled ornaments and red accents elevate the festive feeling.  Put on your hat and mittens and sled right on into our happy holiday setting.

North Cascades Christmas

Gazing at this tree transports us to our own Methow Valley at the end of the famed North Cascades Highway. We can hear the crunch of fresh snow below our feet as we take in our state’s natural beauty and abundant wildlife. Felt deer, foxes, chickadees and more create the frosty forest.   We added contemporary silver accents, antlers and branches as a fresh take on a holiday classic.

Tree Farm

Christmas tree farms abound in our evergreen state.  In this tree, we celebrate the tradition of choosing the perfect tree that’s grown right here in the Pacific Northwest.  Vintage cars, retro ornaments, and rustic signs remind us of simpler times and happy memories.  Airstream trailers, campers adorned with Christmas lights, and lanterns give another layer to the retro atmosphere.

Joyeux Jardin

A grand composition full of flowers and foliage, this tree would be equally as elegant in a Paris apartment as it would right here in Issaquah.  Bird cages filled with hydrangea balls offer an element of surprise in this glorious garden tree.   Oversized moss balls, delicate plaid glass ornaments and a menagerie of birds unify the lovely garden scene.

Highland Holiday

Inspired by the beautiful Balmoral Castle in Scotland, this tree is resplendent with fauna and gold embellishments.   Traditional plaids, deer and antler accents conjure visions of a Scottish holiday.  Fuzzy bears and battery operated clip-on candles complete the rustic scene.

Blue Willow

Blue and white is having a big moment in interior design, and this tree reflects that trend.  It’s a timeless combination that creates a fresh take on Christmas.  Sunburst ornaments, birds, fluffy and glistening magnolias, white berries are gleaming on this simple but elegant tree.  We’ve added Chinese inspired pottery to elevate the mood.

Gnome For the Holidays

We just can’t help but smile when we see these Christmas gnomes perched inside our Christmas tree.  There is no shortage of fun here:  gnomes skiing, dancing and lounging about.  Some have fuzzy gray hair; others have neat braids, but all are endearing.  We added some Christmas mice, a few foxes and mushrooms for fun, and the overall effect is a jolt of pure joyful whimsy.  Who doesn’t need a gnome for the holidays?

Berries and Boughs

Legend has it that cardinals are visitors from heaven, coming to us in times of need or celebration.  Our tree is full of this resplendent bright red bird, perched amongst nests and snow covered steeples.  We’ve even added a whimsical element with peppermint striped poinsettias.
