‘Rio’ Heuchera
Bring some of the bright vibrance of Rio de Janeiro to your garden or containers with ‘Rio’ heuchera. This stunning addition to the coral bells family will give you a color show all year long. It’s color seemingly changes with the seasons. New growth unfurls in a lush peach amber, as it matures the leaves will go amber to tan and finally encore in a stunning yellow amber. ‘Rio’ like it’s namesake city can tolerate more sun and heat then her lighter colored sisters. Put ‘Rio’ front and center in a container or use as a border in a perennial flower bed. A rapid grower, her mounding habit will stay short at only 14″ while spreading to 9″.
