New! Raspberry Profusion

Bring color to the garden from spring through fall with a new Abelia, aptly named ‘Raspberry Profusion’.  Featuring blush pink blooms beginning in May and continuing into summer, the raspberry red sepals (see photo) on each bloom persist late into fall.  The blooms also produce a wonderful fragrance for you to enjoy.  Glossy green foliage sets a lustrous backdrop for this very heavy bloomer, which is also enjoyed by hummingbirds and butterflies.

Plant this semi-evergreen shrub in full sun (6 or more hours) for best performance.  Cold hardy, and compact in habit, ‘Raspberry Profusion’ requires almost no pruning as it matures at 3-4’ tall and wide.  Abelia is also heat and drought tolerant once established in the landscape.  Consider bringing months of stunning color to your garden by adding this beauty to a mixed border or foundation planting.  Let the friendly, knowledgeable team at Squak Mt. assist you in selecting this exciting new shrub for your landscape.
