‘Flowerfull’ smooth hydrangea will stun and delight gardeners with big, floret filled flowers that bloom in a stunning, pure white each summer. ‘Flowerfull’ is a new introduction for 2025, but we couldn’t wait until next year to roll out this impressive new variety for you!
Hydrangea arborescens(often called smooth or Annabelle hydrangeas) thrive in partial or full sun locations and boast large round blooms. Traditionally stems on these plants tend to flop as the heavy flowers mature. The strong sturdy stems of ‘Flowerfull’ ensure that the flowers remain tall and proud throughout the bloom cycle, even in the wind and rain. Bred to be more disease resistant than other arborescens, the foliage will stay lush and green all season long. Perhaps most impressively this new variety is truly full of flowers, boasting two or three times more blooms than other hydrangea arboresnces varieties.
‘Flowerfull’ will grow 3-4’ tall and spread to 4-5’ wide. Plant them in perennial borders or a large decorative container to bring wonderful white blooms to your summer garden.
