Double flowered pansies are now a reality! Their beautiful, ruffled, multi-petal blooms are enchanting and wonderfully exclusive. The greenhouses at Squak Mt. are pleased to introduce the new Sato Pansy to our region.
Over the decades we have grown hundreds of thousands of pansies and violas for local gardeners. Never have we imagined a double bloom on a pansy!
Mr. Isao Sato struck out to breed a double flowered pansy and after years of trial and error he has presented the ‘Sato’ pansy to the world. This double blooming pansy will dazzle you with the frilly flowers and ombre coloring. Two elegant collections are being grown at Sqauk Mt. The Twilight Collection includes richer hues of blue, red, wine and white. The tones perfectly reflect the rich tones of fall. The Antoinette Collection features the softer pastel colors of yellow, pink, white and apricot.
Our first ever crop of Sato Pansies should be ready in early September. Come be transfixed by their alluring double blooms soon.
