Employment

We are very thankful for the team of helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff that make up the family at Squak Mt.

We appreciate your interest in joining our team.

You may apply using one of these methods:

  1. Visiting the nursery and completing an application for employment.  (Preferred!)
  2. Mailing us your resume and a cover letter via US Postal Service.
  3. Email us your resume and cover letter to jobs@squakmtnursery.com.

We are unique in our area…  we are a farm!  We are on our feet all day and get lots of healthy exercise and exposure to both the sun and the rain.  It is hard work.  Being at the nursery is also very rewarding.  Every day we get to see beautiful plants growing and have the opportunity to serve and connect with our community.  Does this sound like a fun opportunity to you?

If you are energetic, friendly, enjoy the outdoors and working with plants – we would welcome meeting you!

We are able to partner with student schedules and other part time schedules.  (We set up predictable work schedules that do not change from week to week.)

Opportunities to work past the completion date of these positions may arise, but that cannot be determined until later in the season. Many of our year round staff began their career at Squak Mt. as a part of our spring team.
