10:30 am – Natural Rose Care Let Ann teach you the secrets of how to prune, and care for roses without using pesticides. Her roses
are gorgeous!
2:00 pm – Creative with Roses – Join Patti as she shares how to make rose beads with our favorite summer blooms.
3:30 pm - Easy, Easy Garden Design - You love a beautiful garden, but just feel like there’s not enough time to make it happen.
Give Ann one hour and she will share great ideas on creating an attractive garden that is truly easy to care for. She will also include instruction on how to use roses as easy care landscape plants.
Friday July 17th – Savory Herb Day
10:30 am - Herbs at the Back Door Grow your herbs in a container at the back door for convenient cooking. Patti will show you how to get maximum use from minimum space as we pot an ‘herb garden’ in a container.
2:00 pm – Basil Mania – It takes heat to grow basil. Join us to learn the secret to growing great basil, and taste some great pesto!
4:00 pm Rosemary on the Grill – Get off work early and come learn how to grow and use herbs that make excellent summer meals on the barbeque.
Saturday July 18th – Lavender Day
Includes free samples of lavender cookies and lavender lemonade (while they last)
9:30 am Lavender Wands Workshop – come make a lavender wand to take home. Also fun for kids when each is accompanied
by an adult. Cost $5.
11:30 am All About Lavender
Join Patti as we explore the world of lavender. You will be delighted to discover the multitude of varieties. Learn how to care for, prune and use these fragrant and beautiful plants.
2:00 pm Cooking with Lavender – Lavender sugar demonstration along with tips and recipes for cooking with lavender.
