Master Gardener Clinics

Trained by the Cooperative Extension Service and W.S.U., the Master Gardeners will help diagnose the insect, disease and cultural problems you may be experiencing in your garden. Please bring any samples in closed plastic bags.

Creating a Bulb Parade

Join our bulb expert, Chris, as she shares how to create beautiful color in early spring by layering bulbs in a container.  She will demonstrate how to properly plant bulbs in pots, and suggest multiple recipes that will insure a long bloom period of different bulb types throughout spring.

Squak Mt.’s “Early Bird Special” is back by popular demand.  From October 25th through November 8th you receive a 20% discount off of our beautiful selection of pre-lit everlasting Christmas trees.  Our discount reduces to 10% off from November 10th through November 29th, and trees return to regular pricing on December 1st.

Holiday Shop Opens November 1st!
The holiday season at Squak Mt. will once again be celebrated with beautiful ornaments and décor in our Garden Shed.  Throughout fall you are welcome to browse and see the first touches of the holiday season as they unfold.  On November 1st the Garden Shed will be in its full holiday glory, featuring theme trees, unique décor, gifts and much, much more.

Early Holiday Preview

Molly and Michele, the lead designers in our Garden shed gift and holiday shops, will give you useful and unique tips for holiday decorating early in the season.   Our wonderful holiday shop will be fully decorated and Molly and Michele’s creative demonstrations using faux greens will put you in the holiday spirit!

Holiday Herb Wreath

Join Patti as she demonstrates how to create an evergreen wreath laced with silvery herbs.  You will learn how lavender, sage, rosemary, thyme and other herbs can provide you with flu and cold season remedies along with tea and wreath making materials.

Holiday Open House
